The defining feature of this area, as its name suggests, is the Coast, with its abundant and wild beaches, natural landscapes with numerous hiking trails, lighthouses, various megalithic sites, as well as different routes of crosses and manor houses.
Laxe was awarded the title of Galician Tourist Municipality in 2008 and stands as one of the most iconic towns in A Costa da Morte, being a typical fishing village. Naturally, all the fresh products from this sea can be savored in the many different restaurants in the area.
The town boasts one of the most beautiful and expansive sandy beaches along this coastline.
